In the Wild Vacation Bible School, June 24-27
SEELEY LAKE – Children ages four through the sixth grade are invited to attend “In the Wild: Vacation Bible School” at Mission Bible Fellowship. The fun starts Monday, June 24 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and includes games, music, crafts, Bible lessons and snacks. The Vacation Bible School runs through Thursday.

Swan Valley Community Library Highlights
Swan Valley - Story Time is held each Friday at the Swan Valley Library at 11 a.m. Youngsters hear a story and create an art project to take home.
The Book Chat group will discuss “Moonflower Vine” by Jetta Carelton on June 28 at 1 p.m.
“Moonflower Vine” has been called a “timeless rediscovered American classic.” Printed in 1962 it was Carelton’s only published novel.
It is the story of a Matthew and Callie Soames who live on a farm in western Missouri during the first half of the twentieth century. They raise four independent and determined daughters. The story follows the family over the decades where they love, deceive, forgive and come to appreciate the strong bonds of love that hold them all together.
A reader said, “Each time I read it, it holds me with its vivid, complex, ever-deepening story, going back and forth in time to draw a portrait of one family’s journey and history and their growth.”
Readers have said they would have liked to read more from this author, disappointed that she only published one.
The Swan Valley Library is located on Highway 83, MM 42.5, in Condon and is just north and adjacent to the Swan Valley Community Hall. The library is open Mondays and Fridays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. For more information call 754-2521.
