Potomac School seventh grader Lauren Nordberg qualified for the state Geography Bee held in Bozeman, Mont. March 29. Some of her questions included True or False: Latvia is at a higher latitude than New York, and Which area of Washington, D.C. is home to the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the newest Smithsonian Museum? "It was really challenging, but super fun. I liked the fact that they asked not only geographical questions, but questions regarding current events around the world. I would like the opportunity to do it again."
