Help set the stage for the 2019-2020 2 Valleys Stage season
SEELEY LAKE - It’s already time to start making plans for next season’s 2 Valleys Stage performances! Everyone in the community is invited to participate and provide input on which performers will be invited for the 2019-2020 season.
Join 2VS Friday, March 1, 4 p.m. at The Hub in the Bison & Bear Mall in downtown Seeley Lake. They will listen to CDs and/or watch videos of prospective guest artists and discuss their suitability as performers for the community and for area schools.
First Friday in Seeley Lake features Good Old Fashion, March 1
SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to come out for an evening of entertainment on the First Friday, March 1 at The Lodges on Seeley Lake. Check out the new lodge and enjoy live music by Good Old Fashioned from 5 – 8 p.m. Cocktails and appetizers will be available for purchase from 4 – 9 p.m.
First Friday in the Swan features photographer Leon Kauffman, March 1
Swan Valley - Photographer Leon Kauffman is familiar to many Swan Valley Facebook group users, where he often shares scenes of the valley’s natural beauties, its forests, meadows, streams and the night sky. Kauffman will present his photos of the Swan Valley on a larger screen March 1, 6 p.m. at the Swan Valley Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
The First Friday event is hosted by the Upper Swan Valley Historical Society.
Swan Valley AARP Meeting, March 5
Swan Valley - The next meeting of the Swan Valley AARP will be held at the Swan Valley Community Hall on Tuesday, March 5, beginning at 12 p.m. A potluck lunch, hosted by Barbara and Joe Raible, will start at 12:30 p.m. There will be a brief business meeting at 1:30 p.m., after which the Swan Valley School third - fifth graders will describe their water quality data collection project on Glacier Creek. The public is invited.
