T.J. Sorkness, owner of Professional Paint & Finish LLC of Kalispell, volunteered to remove the graffiti from the Seeley Lake Ranger District damage that was estimated at $1,500 excluding materials.

SEELEY LAKE – When professional painter T.J. Sorkness saw the photos of the graffiti on the exterior of the Seeley Lake Ranger District online, he volunteered to remove it.

"I just wanted to do what was right," said Sorkness who owns Professional Paint & Finish LLC in Kalispell and has been a painting professionally for the last 12 years. "I wanted to donate my time to compensate for the trouble that was caused. [The District] shouldn't have to pay for something that was going to cost money to fix."

Acting District Ranger Quinn Carver said Sorkness called immediately after the photos...
