SEELEY LAKE – Saturday, Feb. 2 the Seeley Lake Nordic Ski Club in partnership with the Wilderness Sportsman’s Club will be hosting the Seeley Lake Biathlon at the Seeley Creek Ski Trails. This is the only “Citizens Biathlon” in Montana – no prior biathlon experience is required.
Race Director Dave Batchelder said the Nordic Club acquired the shooting targets from the past organizers last summer and the club is excited to host the event. Next year the club will have more targets and “hopes to establish Seeley Lake as a destination biathlon event in western Montana.”
