Sleds not required! When the Seeley Lake Lions Club pond got a little too sloppy for skating, Seeley Lake Elementary fourth graders Kaelinn Wood, Sera Benton, Cerenity Hjorth took to the slopes at the annual Lions Club Ice Skating Party Sunday, Jan. 27.
SEELEY LAKE – With temperatures in the sun reaching close to 50 degrees, children and adults quickly shed the extra layers as they took to the ice on skates or enjoyed sledding around the Lions Club Pond at the annual Lions Club ice skating party Sunday, Jan. 27. With nearly 70 in attendance, there was never a dull moment with impromptu skate races and sledding fun. When attendees needed to refuel, hot dogs, chili and cookies hit the spot.
