Taillefer continues passion for teaching in Potomac

Potomac School new teacher feature

POTOMAC - Christianna Taillefer co-teaches in the mornings in first through third grades for Math, Geometry and Algebra at Potomac School. During the afternoon she is a Paraprofessional. She also helped coach girl’s volleyball and helps teach Explorers.

“Teaching is my passion,” she said. “I love sharing my knowledge with others.”

Taillefer was born in Oregon but spent the majority of her life in Tennessee. She graduated from Montana State University Billings in 2014 and holds degrees in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade Education, Business Management and Marketing.

From 2014 to 2018 Taillefer taught at Belgrade Middle School. She was also commuting from Belgrade to work on her Potomac homestead with her husband Scott. After Scott retired, they moved to Potomac in June 2018 and live in Potomac full time.

Taillefer said she loves building relationships with the individuals who are molding the future. She looks forward to offering as much of her skill and assistance as possible to Potomac School and the community.

Taillefer’s homestead includes two Mastiff dogs, two horses, four chickens and some rabbits. Taillefer enjoys spending time with her husband and animals, riding and working on their homestead.
