Montana sportsmen can count on Bridges

October 11, 2018

As a firearms owner and active big game hunter for many years, the right to bear firearms is important to me. I first met Lee Bridges when she started campaigning for House District 92 and I have visited with her on a few occasions since then. She’s a proud member of the sheet metal workers union and is a board member of the East Missoula Community Council, one of the many boards she has served on.

Lee has traveled to numerous events and watering holes to visit with residents of the district and has knocked on doors anywhere between East Missoula and Condon in the Swan Valley. I’ve read her website and spoken to her about the right to bear arms. Lee supports sensible gun laws and background checks. She supports hunter safety classes and firearm training. She is a gun owning Montanan and will protect our right to bear arms which is granted by the Declaration of Rights of the Montana Constitution: Section 12. Right to bear arms. The right of any person to keep or bear arms in defense of his own home, person and property, or in aid of the civil power when thereto legally summoned, shall not be called in question, but nothing herein contained shall be held to permit the carrying of concealed weapons.

Vote Democrat Lee Bridges, Nov. 6, for House District 92.
