Christen Wins Fourth of July Poster Contest

SEELEY LAKE – Seeley Lake resident Andy Christen was the winner of the Seeley Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth of July poster contest. He won $25 from the Chamber.

The theme for the Seeley Lake Fourth of July festivities is “Celebrate Freedom.” Look for his design on the posters coming soon.

Fire Department Open House June 2

SEELEY LAKE – The community is invited to the Seeley Lake Fire Hall June 2 at 12 p.m. for an Open House and pinning ceremony to officially welcome the new Fire Chief Dave Lane and check out all the new improvements to the station. There will be a barbecue and ice cream social following the ceremony as well as a bounce house and games for the kids.

Backroads of the Mind Reading, June 2

SEELEY LAKE – Join the Seeley-Swan High School Creative Writing students for a picnic-style reading launching “Backroads of the Mind: Volume Three” Saturday, June 2 at 6 p.m. on the SSHS Football field.

Bring a picnic basket and blanket. Following the reading there will be a meet and greet with a book signing and much more.
