Blackhawks Make Their Marks at State Class C Track Meet

The Boys 4x100 relay team was all smiles displaying their medals after winning the race. Pictured L to R: Dakota Wood, Cameron Haines, Hunter Shelmerdine and Logan Robinson. They set a new school record in the prelims with a time of 43.93 seconds breaking the old record of 44.03 seconds set by Noah Madinger, Bobby Clark, Kaleb Johnson and Cameron Gamache in 2000.

GREAT FALLS - The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks took the top spot on the podium in three individual events and two relays at the Montana State C Track Meet May 26 where they competed against athletes from more than 80 schools. The Boys' team came away with a third place trophy while the Ladies came in ninth.

Logan Maughan was the Boys top individual athlete. He earned first place in the 1600-meter setting a new personal record (PR) of 4:31.61 minutes. He also took second in the 800-meter with a time of 158.64 minutes, another PR.
