Friends and neighbors, primary season is here and our House District (92) has a clear choice to represent us in the Montana State Legislature. Lee Bridges is an incredible candidate and citizen willing to work around the clock for us. She has more than 40 years of experience in hands-on blue-collar work and has been an active public servant as a volunteer fire fighter, community organizer, and community committee member. Her main issues are fair wages, good jobs, unions, public lands, fire management and public education. She is actively researching how to create well-paying, sustainable jobs in communities just like ours and promoting fire education.
I must tell you though, what really impresses me about Lee Bridges is that she isn’t just talk and campaign slogans. I recently met her at Poor Henry’s Bar near my home in Clinton. Half the people in the bar knew her and she knew who was fixing up what old truck and who was at danger of flooding. She talked with one neighbor about the bitcoin operation at the old mill site and agreed that the community council should be looking into the noise issues with the cooling fans. Lee Bridges isn’t just talking about building bridges, she IS building common ground as we speak.
In this divisive political environment, we can all agree that having a candidate who listens to us and represents us is important. Lee Bridges believes in good wages and real work and shares my Montana values of public access on public lands. She has shattered glass ceilings in trades work for women and supports programs that support young women.
Lee Bridges is the best choice for House District 92. Please join me in voting for her!
