Building Bridges to Common Ground for HD92

Hi, I am Lee Bridges running to represent you in HD92. I share your Montana values and love for our magnificent state. Let's Build Bridges to Common Ground to enact sensible problem-solving legislation in this divisive political environment.

As your representative, I will bring my 40 years of experience as a blue-collar tradesperson as well as my lifetime of public service. I am a mobilizer, problem-solver and strong voice in our community. I have the skills and understanding it takes to work with both sides of the aisle and I have the freedom to work full time for you. I will put in as many hours as necessary to bring consensus and solutions to the problems in our district.

As you know, an immediate concern in our district is wildland fire mitigation. One thing I want to see are tax incentives for Volunteer Firefighters and First Responders in our communities who put their time and lives on the line for us.

Additionally, as part of my commitment to the communities in HD92 and to help the public understand the history of fires, the causes we've created over time and some solutions going forward, I'm currently working with the studio producers, the DNRC and Swan Valley Connections to present free showings of the educational documentary "Era of Megafires," in Condon and Seeley Lake.

As I've knocked doors and held events, the top issues are public lands, followed closely by Medicaid Expansion. So where do I stand? I strongly support keeping our public lands public and funding for Medicaid expansion that's been cut back.

I support well-paying, sustainable jobs in our communities and look for ideas to support the working class making a living in a tourist town. I've been researching and exploring solutions from other states like Colorado and similar areas.

I support public education, especially vocational training to support the local trades, including apprenticeships and special programs like G.R.I.T. (Girls Representing In Trades, sponsored by the YWCA, for young girls exploring the traditional male trades), and M.A.P. (Montana Artrepreneurial Program, sponsored by the Montana Arts Council, teaching the rural artisan the business of selling their art).

While I follow the Democratic platform on important issues and am running as a Democrat, my vast experiences have led me to be independent and creative in decision-making and problem solving. Let's build a foundation of common interest. That's what I'm good at doing.

I have tried to meet everyone in our district, however, if I missed you please feel free to get in touch.

It's an important and patriotic duty to vote in our elections. Primaries count. The primary is June 5th. I need your vote so we can Build Bridges to Common Ground in the State Legislature for House District 92.

Every Vote Counts! Please Vote Lee Bridges for HD92 in the Primary!
