Cakes for Canines Huge Success

SEELEY LAKE – Pop's Place opened their doors for their annual Cakes for Canines donation pancake breakfast, April 26. The free breakfast included pancakes, bacon and eggs, great conversation and an opportunity to support the Paws Up Safe Home Animal Shelter in Potomac.

Paws Up currently has 24 dogs, eight tame cats and two shelter horses available for adoption. Photos of the animals are posted on the Paws Up Safe Home Facebook page. Anyone interested in meeting the animals are encouraged to call Operator Hazel Tyler at 406-244-2552 to set up a time to visit.

"I want to thank Tim and Connie Clark, owner of Pop's Place, for donating their time, food and restaurant," said Tyler. "One hundred percent of the donations went to the shelter."
