Levy Proposed for MCPS in May 8 Election
MISSOULA – The Missoula County Board of Trustees approved an elementary and high school district operations levy to appear on the May 8 ballot at their March 13 meeting. Voters in the Seeley-Swan will only vote on the high school levy.
The board voted to levy $169,994 for the high school district. This will cost $2.25 for homes costing $200,000. Due to a Building Reserve levy that is sun setting and additional funding from the state, the total taxpayer cost to fund the high school district will go down $4.26 even if the voted levy passes.
