Turkey Drive Huge Success

Seeley-Swan High School Leo Club members Adia Stevenson, Jenna Harnisch-Colby and Jared Townsend collecting turkeys and donations at Rovero's Nov. 17.

SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Leos Club collected 10 turkeys and more than $750 for the Seeley-Swan Community Food Bank during their Turkey Drive Nov. 17. The event was a huge success.

Leos Club President Ibby Lorentz said the club chose this as a service project because there is no longer a community Thanksgiving dinner in Seeley Lake.

"The Seeley Lake Lions Club does a food drive for Christmas," said Lorentz. "We thought Thanksgiving would be a good time to give back."

The Leos collected frozen turkeys and donations at Cory's Valley Market, Rovero's and the US Post Office in Seeley Lake...
