Strumpfer Graduates Basic Training with Honors

Private First Class Cera Strumpfer posed with her twin sister Mary following her graduation.

FORT JACKSON, SC – Private First Class Cera Strumpfer graduated as the distinguished honor graduate of the 3rd battalion, 34th infantry regiment with the 165th infantry brigade, US Army National Guard at Hilton Field, Fort Jackson, S.C. Strumpfer showed the most professionalism, dedication and technical competency in a vast array of military subjects and demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities and exceptional performance. Strumpfer also attained the highest composite score on the Army Physical Fitness Test for her cycle. The fitness test consists of pushups, sit-ups and a two-mile run.

Strumpfer will go to Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in Fort Lee, Va. for four months and then return to Missoula where she will start college and do weekend warrior program for the Montana Army National Guard.
