Volunteers Needed for National Trails Day

LINCOLN - Saturday, June 3 is National Trails Day. The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation will be holding a volunteer workday event in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service.

Volunteers will clear trails around the Indian Meadows trailhead near Lincoln. There will be a tailgate barbeque after the workday.

Volunteers must be at least 12 and may be using pulaskis, loppers or cross cut saws to clear trees and do trail maintenance. The event starts at 8 a.m. at the Lincoln Ranger Station. There are limited spots available.
