Blackhawks Downed by Bigfork

SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks faced an uphill battle against the Bigfork Vikings Dec. 20 at home.

The Blackhawks were outscored by the Class B Vikings three to one for most of the game. The Blackhawks finally gained some traction in the fourth quarter. They held the Vikings to just six points while putting up eight of their own.

The final score was 26-63.

Chance Johnson led the Blackhawks in points with 8 while Bradley Miller had 7.

The Blackhawks had only two shots from the free-throw line. Gunner Sloan took both shots and made one.

Also scoring: Sloan 3; Keaton Johnson 2; Avery Smith 2; Logan Robinson 2 and Cameron Haines 2.

Next week

The Blackhawks and Lady Blackhawks head to Arlee Jan. 5 to make up games canceled in December due to bad weather. Games start at 2:30 p.m.

The teams then host Lincoln Jan. 6 with games scheduled to start at 5 p.m. and Charlo Jan. 7 starting at 1 p.m.
