Blackhawks Tangle with Mountain Cats


The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks headed to Superior to take on the Clark Fork Co-op's Mountain Cats Sept. 9.

After allowing the Mountain Cats a pair of unanswered touchdowns in the opening quarter, the Blackhawks put their first points on the board.

Shane Lindemer took a pass from Bradley Miller in for the 55-yard touchdown. Miller hit Chance Johnson for the two-point conversion cutting the Mountain Cats lead to just 6.

The Mountain Cats spent the rest of the half and the third quarter running up the score. The Blackhawks had to wait until the final quarter to find the end zone again.
