Spectators were treated to music by Code Red and private fireworks displays prior to the community fireworks show July 4 on the lawn of Lindey's Prime Steak House. Code Red, a four-piece, family friendly rock/country cover band from Eugene, Ore., also played an impromptu street dance Saturday night at D&B Auto/Parts Plus. Their lead singer Breana (Johnson) Cahoon is a Seeley Lake native.

The Seeley Lake Fire Company served 535 people at their annual pancake breakfast July 4. Mike Richards serving up bear-shaped pancakes to the kids.
