SEELEY LAKE - Joyce Morris, 82, died May 10 of pulmonary failure in Post Falls, Idaho. She was born April 25, 1934 in Great Falls to Edward J. and Ethel Hale Mauzey, attending school in Great Falls.

She met her first husband Donald G. Marko while working as a housekeeper in the Smith River area and married him Dec. 1, 1951. They lived on the Marko ranch until his death in 1959.

She married Joseph W. Morris, a County Extension Agent, in 1960 living in Bozeman, Stanford, Cardwell and Great Falls. After his retirement they moved to Seeley Lake for 23 years, then Missoula and recently near Rathdrum, Idaho living on the Matt and April Gering family ranch.

Joyce enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends, gardening, sewing, cards and watching wildlife. She will be remembered for her kindness and love of animals.

Survivors include her husband Joe; three daughters Debbie Farmer (Hal) of Billings, Carmen Neuman (Dean) of Power and Tina Contway (Ross) of Fort Shaw; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister Darlene Kakalecik; three nieces and two nephews.

A private ceremony was held graveside in Great Falls at Mount Olivet Cemetery May 16.
