OVANDO – Ovando School celebrated Jesse McKay's graduation from eighth grade at the annual May Day Tea. McKay will attend Drummond High School next year.
True to tradition, each of the students shared memories about McKay and his time at Ovando School. McKay also read his wills for each student and teacher upon his leaving. McKay's mother, Bri read his prophecy. Finally, before receiving his diploma, there was a photo slide show of McKay growing up.
"The sky is not the limit for you Jesse," said Bri who prophesied he would be a pilot of NASA and on the cutting edge of developing state-of-the-art flight simulators. "You will soar even farther than that."
