Blackhawks First and Second at District Meet

Junior Alex Bohlman leads her heat of the 200-meter time trials. She finished first in the time trials and went on to win the 200-meter final with a time of 26.25. Her time set a new District 13-C meet record previously set in 1983 by Seeley-Swan's Penny Pagett of 26.40.

MISSOULA - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks took first while the Boys finished out the District 13-C Meet in second place May 14. Eleven girls and 10 boys will advance to the Western C Divisional Meet May 20 and 21 in Missoula at the MCPS Track.

Alex Bohlman led the Lady Blackhawks racking up four first places in the 200-meter, 400-meter, high jump and javelin. Her 200-meter time of 26.25 set a new District 13-C Meet record overtaking Seeley-Swan's own Penny Pagett's 1983 record of 26.40. Bohlman took home silver in the 100-meter.
