Amanda Fowler - SLE Board

Biography & Qualifying Experience: My name is Amanda Fowler. I grew up in Montana and have lived all around. We moved to Seeley Lake a year and a half ago. I have since then become a part of the community. I enjoy the bigger community feel with the small town people.

I love to volunteer my time. I currently volunteer at Loving Hearts, I'm a youth leader with our church youth group and I am the treasurer for Sparrows Vine.

I have a wonderful husband and two amazing children. I enjoy reading, kayaking, going to games and spending time with my family.

Why do you want to be on the school board?  I hope to bring some of my old time values to our school.

I would like to see gifted programs for all age groups, not just junior high. 

I want to be a proactive part of helping to change programs and improve quality of education at school.

Changes or issues you would address? I would like to see a better connection with the board and the parents!

Challenges facing the board and the school? Using resources more effectively for the school is a challenge. Also, keeping respectful and intelligent teachers within our school.
