Blackhawks Fall to Eagles and Trojans

The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks dropped both their games this week against Valley Christian and Drummond degrading their overall record to 4-8.

Versus Valley Christian

The Blackhawks took on the Valley Christian Eagles at home Jan. 21. Earlier in the season, the Eagles stomped the Blackhawks, more than doubling their score.

After getting off to a slow start, the Blackhawks worked hard in the second quarter to head into the second half tied. They were unable to keep their momentum but kept it from being a runaway game. Final score was 43-50 in favor of the Eagles.

Jacob Haley led the Blackhawks with 11 points. Joshua Cahoon followed close behind scoring 11.

Also scoring: Billy Bedson 8; Keaton Johnson 8; Bradley Miller 3 and Cameron Haines 3.

Versus Drummond

The Blackhawks took to the road challenging the Drummond Trojans Jan. 22.

Jacob Haley led the Blackhawks with 21 points, hitting 2, three-pointers, 4, two-pointers and sunk 7 of 8 from the free throw line.

Despite Haley's 21-point performance the Blackhawks fell 44-63 to the Trojans.

Also scoring: Joshua Cahoon 9; Bradley Miller 5; Keaton Johnson 3; Billy Bedson 2; Gavin Mercado 2 and Gunner Sloan 2.
