Seeley Lake Residents Encouraged to Adopt a Hydrant

Brothers Dakota and Merle Boast have already adopted the hydrants around their home on Elm Drive. They said their dad suggested the idea and they like helping out their neighbors. They have kept them clear since the first snowfall.

SEELEY LAKE - It is that time of the year where snow can become a problem for your local Fire District getting access to fire hydrants. Seeley Lake is very fortunate to have such a well-maintained water and fire hydrant system. Though the Seeley Lake Water District works hard to keep the hydrants clear of snow in the winter... you can assist in that effort.

Pleases consider adopting the hydrant nearest your home and do your part to keep it clear of snow. It can be difficult to locate a fire hydrant that is covered with snow. Snow covered fire hydrants can cause critical delays and add extre...
