SEELEY LAKE – A single-engine airplane crashed while landing at the Seeley Lake Airport, Jan. 4 around 5:30 p.m. The pilot walked away with no injuries.
According to Missoula County Sheriff’s Sergeant Robert Parcell the airplane was landing from the north. When it touched down on the plowed runway, it was too far left of the center. The left tire was sucked into the left hand snow berm, spinning the plane 180 degrees and slamming the right wing into the berm. The pilot kept the plane upright and was uninjured.
