NFPA Urges Timely Disposal of Christmas Trees

SEELEY LAKE - With the holiday now behind us, the tree is swiftly losing its coat of green, and the needles are piling up on the floor, which means it’s time to remove the tree from your home. One option to dispose of trees for valley residents is to bring trees, free of tinsel and wire, to the Filling Station parking lot for the annual bonfire Jan. 15. The bonfire will be held around 5:30 p.m. following the Winterfest Kick-off parade from Deer Country Quilts to the Filling Station parking lot.
