Trees were flagged on Big Sky Lake homeowner properties and after more than 18 months of planning, the logging began in December 2021. Once the Big Sky Lake Fuels Reduction Project is complete, more than 80% of the 75 properties surrounding the lake will have been treated to reduce hazard fuels and improve forest health.
