Alex Beal and Landee Holloway, Missoula County Justices of the Peace|Dec 12, 2019

For those of you who live in and around Seeley Lake, if you have to go to court, it will probably be Missoula County Justice Court. It’s where traffic tickets and criminal charges from the Sheriff’s Office, the Motor Carrier Service, Montana Highway Patrol, Fish, Wildlife & Parks and Animal Control are filed. It’s also where smaller civil suits are filed. Admittedly, none of that is particularly fun. Justice Court is taking a step that (among other things) should cut down on the most painful court visits. As of Jan. 1, 2020, Missoula Count...

  • Authentic worship

Pastor Craig Wilson, Pastor - Mission Bible Fellowship|Dec 12, 2019

The place of King Herod within the Christmas story is intertwined with the history of the Magi. The Lord used the Magi to reveal the birth of Jesus to outsiders from a faraway place. The response of the Magi was then authentic worship of Jesus as King and Messiah. Matthew 2:7-8 (NIV) "Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to...

This year's Holiday Traditions question is Do you use special candles and/or decorate with lights at your house for the holidays? If so, why? • Fun the popular "Restore Our Parks Act"

    Kim Lloyd, Helena, Mont.|Dec 12, 2019

Montana’s national parks are some of the best in the country, but they desperately need repairs. Parks across our county, like those in Montana, are facing unreliable funding, record visitation and aging infrastructure. That’s why I am encouraged by a bipartisan proposal in Congress to address the $12 billion in national parks deferred maintenance. The Restore Our Parks Act (ROPA) would set aside $6.5 billion over the next five years to fix dilapidated trails, buildings, roads, bridges, monuments and historic markers in our parks. Ama...
