By Gwyneth Hyndman The body of an individual found in a mobile home blaze on Hwy 83 on Nov.9 has been identified, and the name has been released by the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office. Arthur D. Bailey, 75, of Seeley Lake, was found within the mobile home when fire and emergency crews arrived, after being alerted to the blaze at 11:29 p.m. Seeley Lake Fire Chief Dave Lane told the Seeley Swan Pathfinder that the home was about 50% ablaze when they arrived. Seeley Lake - Barbara Ann Messerly Cebulski, 91, died on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, at her home in Seeley Lake. She was born on July 8, 1931, the first of 10 born at the family ranch house on Beaver Creek, near Zortman, to Pete Messerly and Fannie Shurlock Messerly. Barbara rode her horse from the ranch to Beaver Creek School through the eighth grade and then moved to Malta to attend high school, graduating in May, 1949. I was thinkin' the other day how well the wife and I got along spiritually. We both agree that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, that the Bible is the ultimate truth and God inspired. No if, ands, buts or maybes. The only Church she attended as a young girl was Methodist. And I was raised Catholic.
