    Nathan Bourne, Pathfinder|Oct 15, 2020

SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley-Swan Blackhawks hosted the Darby Tigers for their homecoming Oct. 9. The Blackhawks offense got off to a rough start after the Tiger's kickoff. They bobbled the first snap of the game, giving the Tigers the ball on the Blackhawks' 23-yard line. The Blackhawks defense held the Tigers to just a couple yards in four plays giving the offense a second chance. Another wild snap nearly gave the Tigers a safety. • Monica Tanel better choice than Jennifer Fielder

    Lee Boman, Missoula, Montana|Oct 15, 2020

I have had brief but memorial conversations with Jennifer Fielder. It was apparent from those conversations that Jennifer Fielder has no desire or ability to work with others that may not agree with her. Most concerning to me was how hostile Jennifer Fielder appeared to be regarding outdoor recreation. I remember thinking how difficult it would be to work on the same committee with Jennifer Fielder. That’s why I was stunned to read that the Missoulian endorsed Jennifer Fielder in part because of her “unique capacity to unite.” Jennifer Field...

  • Bennett has my support

    Patty Hixson, Missoula, Montana|Oct 15, 2020

I am a retired teacher in Missoula and Bryce Bennett has my support for Montana Secretary of State. Bryce is a fifth generation Montanan with a solid history of public service as State Senator. Bryce attended Montana public schools and is enthusiastically supported by MEA-MFT. An important component of the Secretary of State’s job is to interpret election laws and to oversee the election process. I firmly support Bennett’s principled plan supporting mail-in ballots. Montana citizens should not be forced to make a choice between their health dur...

To that end, Montana Conservation Voters strongly endorses Monica Tranel for Public Service Commissioner in District 4. Our Public Service Commission is a very small state agency, but it has a very big say in d...
