    SEELEY LAKE – The Alpine Revue Art Auction and Talent Show Saturday, May 19 offered something for every palette. Attendees were able to enjoy and bid on local artists' work while munching on treats and listening to local musicians and poets. All proceeds for the event went to support the Alpine Artisan's Inc. student grants, scholarships and outreach activities.     SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Fire Board discussed late rent payment, OSHA compliance and the new operations manual Fire Chief Dave Lane is compiling at the monthly meeting May 15.     MISSOULA – After a slow start to the track season with heavy snow and cold weather, the Seeley Lake Elementary Eagles and Potomac Pioneers had a record-breaking showing at the Meet of Champions (MOC) May 15. While competing against 16 other middle schools from around the county, SLE walked away with two MOC records and six new school records, seven total for the year. Potomac broke two school records.     FRENCHTOWN - The Seeley-Swan Boys won the Western C Divisional track meet May 17-18. The Boys earned 74 team points to propel them past second place Manhattan Christian with 66 points. The Girls earned 46 points for fifth out of the 18 teams represented. More than a dozen Blackhawks will compete at the State C meet May 24-26 in Great Falls.     In 2008, my father, a World War II veteran, was receiving medical care at the Billings Veteran’s clinic. I had medical POA for my father and had questions about his health and left several messages for his doctor, but my phone calls weren't returned.
