SEELEY LAKE – Game wardens with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks are increasing law enforcement efforts on wildlife management areas while seasonal closures continue for many of these areas. The Blackfoot-Clearwater Wildlife Management Area (WMA), aka the Game Range, remains closed until 12 p.m. May 15. So far this year, area FWP wardens have issued citation to two individuals for criminal trespass on the Game Range while it was closed. These charges were misdemeanor charges. HELENA – After internal review and review by the State Trail Advisory Committee, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks recommends 30 applicants receive funding worth $1.44 million through the Montana Trail Stewardship Grant Program (MTSGP) for projects in 2022. SEELEY LAKE – Renee Jenkins, of Seeley Lake, captured the cover photo for the new Seeley Lake Lion's Club Phone Book. The picture of a grizzly coming up from Salmon Lake was captured off Highway 83. Seeley-Swan High School golfers all scored at Missoula Loyola Spring Swing Tournament at the Ranch Club in Missoula April 26.
