Clearwater Montana Properties Donates to Area Non-Profits

A Tradition of Giving Back

Since its founding in 1993, Clearwater Montana Properties has emphasized community building as a key component of its company culture. Through its Charitable Giving Program, the company's agents give back a portion of all real estate proceeds to the communities in which they were earned. To date, the program has produced nearly $500,000 in charitable donations to causes throughout Montana, Idaho, Washington and Wyoming including more than $60,000 in 2017 alone.

"Being a positive force locally is at the core of what we do," said CEO/Broker Kevin Wetherell. "When you do business with Clearwater Montana Properties, you also benefit local non-profit organizations who work hard to improve and benefit your local community and its citizens."

The positive effects of the company's Charitable Giving Program were recently felt locally, as the Clearwater Agents Kevin Wetherell, Robin Matthews-Barnes, Scott Kennedy, Shaun Lewis, Carey Kanavel, John Keller and Lacey McNutt presented donations totaling $7,888 to local non-profit groups: Seeley-Swan Community Food Bank, Seeley Lake Lions Club, Sullivan Memorial Community Hall, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Seeley Lake Wilderness Club, Veterans & Families of Seeley Lake, Seeley Lake Senior Center, Seeley Lake Fire Department, Seeley Lake Trailblazers 4-H, Sparrows Vine, Lincoln Food Bank, Swan Valley Historical Society, Swan Valley School, Swan Valley Community Foundation, Swan Valley Connections, Helmville Community Club, Ravalli County 4-H Council, Potomac 4-H and the Blackfoot Challenge.

As Jon Kimble, Chairperson of the Sullivan Memorial Community Hall says "It is clear your firm truly cares about this community, its members and makes sincere strides towards making this one of the best places to live!"

With more than 90 agents throughout the region, it's not hard to see that the effects of Clearwater's generosity have been and will continue to be far-reaching and impactful.
