Smith Files for House District 92

MISSOULA - A local realtor and engaged citizen DJ Smith announced his candidacy for House District 92. He is seeking the Republican nomination.

Smith is running to assure protection of Montana values and to make sure the middle class has someone standing up for them back in Helena. Smith's years of experience in real estate and local advocacy for attainable housing has prepared him to address the tough issues facing this upcoming Legislative Session.

"Our greatest assets in Montana are our people," said Smith. "We need to do everything we can to make sure the people of Montana can stay in Montana and succeed. We will do this by bringing back high-paying jobs, having a nation's leading education system and reigning in our state regulations to align with our values."

Smith looks forward to the upcoming months visiting his neighbors, attending community council meetings and making countless phone calls. He believes the best tool in Helena is the people's voice. In addition, one of his campaign goals is to have an open mind and listen.

"I plan to make my campaign about the people of House District 92. I want to make sure they have the ability to contact me directly," said Smith. "I also look forward to building the trust between the district and its representative again."
