Despite Slow Start, Eagles Find Their Wings

SEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Elementary Eagles are playing well and having fun despite a shortened season due to the smoke. They have won their last two games and are looking forward to a rematch against Hellgate Elementary on their home field. Hellgate Elementary is the only team that has taken the Eagles down.

"We are salvaging our season. The other kids are ahead of us a little bit but we are happy to be playing," said Head Coach Brett Haines. "The kids are excited about it and they are doing some great things."
