SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley-Swan Lady Blackhawks had a busy week taking on Drummond and Lincoln on the road and Charlo at home. They fell to Drummond and Charlo but defeated Lincoln bringing their record to 4-5 overall and 3-2 in conference.

Versus Drummond

The Lady Blackhawks beat Drummond a week ago at home and looked to repeat the victory on the road Sept. 26. Drummond had other plans.

Drummond outscored the Lady Blackhawks nearly two to one in the first game with a score of 13-25. The Lady Blackhawks put up a better fight in game two but they still came up short, 19-25.

The Lady Blackhawks closed in even further in game three but it was not enough to push the match to a fourth game. Drummond took game three and with it the match, 23-25.

Autumn Morse and Emily Mercado each had 4 aces to led the Ladies serving efforts. Morse also led with 5 assists. Tanisha Rhoades had 15 digs while Ashley Miller led with 4 kills and Klaire Kovatch had 3 of the teams' 4 stuff blocks.

Versus Lincoln

The Lady Blackhawks took on the Lynx in Lincoln Sept. 28. They defeated the Lynx in a five game match a couple of weeks ago so they were expecting a good fight.

They put the Lynx down in game one, 25-13. Game two was looking like the Lynx were going to tie up the match as the Lady Blackhawks were trailing 6-18. Then a string of 17 serves from Chloie Hanback put the Lady Blackhawks back on top. They finished off the game, 25-20 and took the match after a solid 25-18 third game.
