Psalm 39:4
“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered— how fleeting my life is.”
We have no guarantee of life tomorrow--let alone of living a long life. At some time, either death will come to us or Jesus will return to bring an end to life on this earth as we know it. God has numbered our days but has not revealed that time to us. Your life could be over at any time. We need to be ready to meet our Maker (Amos 4:12).
