Swan Song

SEELEY LAKE - Rev. Bonnie Wayne, age 83, of Seeley Lake passed away May 11 at the home she shared with family including Gary and Heatherann Wayne.

Memorial service will be held at Faith Chapel, Pentecostal Church of God June 15 at 1 p.m. Interment will be held at Morrow Town Cemetery in Craigmont, Idaho at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 17.

Bonnie was born in Oklahoma to Claude and Rose Morris May 27, 1933. She graduated high school in Whitaker, Calif. She went on to graduate from the Pentecostal Church of God's Bible College.

After graduation she became a licensed, ordained minister and pastored and co-pastored churches in Kansas, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Montana. She was a missionary on a Native American reservation in California. She also served as the editor of The Pentecostal Messenger.

She was married to Rev. George Wayne Nov. 19, 1983. They were married 31 years.

Bonnie co-founded food banks in Idaho and Montana. She enjoyed people, fishing, camping and playing games.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters Angela Brooks Hisey and Sherri Wrenchey; sons Paul and Phillip Yarnell and Gary Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one sister Burma Hubbard and other family and friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Rev. George Wayne.
