Help Shape the Swan Valley's Economic Future

SWAN VALLEY - The Swan Valley Community Foundation announces a Swan Valley First convening of the community June 21 from 3 – 8:30 p.m. at the Swan Valley Community Hall. The event will focus on a “sustainable local economy.”

This is a hands-on workshop for Swan Valley residents and business owners interested in creating and implementing a sustainable local economy. Participants can expect a highly interactive, facilitated process resulting in an intentional economic strategy for the Swan Valley. It will culminate with an action plan specific for the Swan Valley that will be supported by the Foundation. Food, refreshments and all materials needed for participation are provided to attendees free of charge.

This event is sponsored by the Foundation and supported through a grant by the Donner Foundation. Dan Clark, Director of the Local Government Center and his expert team from the Montana State University Extension Service will facilitate the event.

Space at this event is limited, and participants must RSVP by June 16 to attend.
