Keith Zander placed third in the 6th grade boys 400m with a time of 1:07.78. He beat Seeley Lake Elementary's Steeler Hanson by 0.28 seconds.

Potomac sixth grader Hunter Preston won the sixth grade Javelin with a throw of 87 feet at the Meet of Champions Track meet May 16 at Frenchtown.
FRENCHTOWN - The track season for the Potomac Pioneers culminated at the Meet of Champions May 16 in Frenchtown. There were seven athletes from Potomac that qualified for the final meet. It was a chilly wet day for athletes and coaches alike.
Potomac's Head Track Coach Raynee Pace was extremely proud of the athletes this year.
"They worked hard in practice, tried out different and more challenging events and always worked to set high goals and break their personal records," said Pace.

• Hunter Preston: 7th – Discus, 58-01; 1st – Javelin, 87-00
