Brom Bones (Maddux Burwick) visits with Ichabod Crane (Bethany Hoag) over dinner at the Van Tassel's home. Sisters Kristina Van Tassel (Sara Stevenson - back) and Katrina Van Tassel (Grace Wilson - right) listen and town thief Betty Gildur (Hannah Ayers) helps herself to the wine.
Ichabod Crane (right) was quite the ladies man. Banker Jarvis Worry (Eric Lorentz - left) and Bathus Van Tassel (Edward Aldeen) were not impressed.

SSEELEY LAKE – The Seeley Lake Elementary (SLE) Drama Club presented "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" Jan. 18. Sixth-grade teacher Sharon Teague led an elective entitled "Stage Craft" that did all of the set design, production and props. Teague's afterschool sewing club, funded through the 21st Century Grant, made all of the costumes.
When the new schoolmaster Ichabod Crane (Bethany Hoag) showed up in Sleepy Hollow, he was quite the ladies' man. However there was only one lady that won his heart, Miss Katrina Van Tassel, (Grace Wilson).
Brom Bones (Maddux Burwick) is seeking Van Tassel's hand in marriage. When he finds out that Crane is also pursuing her, he makes a deal with the town's four witches Sabrina (Dani Sexton), Samantha (Grace Mercado), Hilda (Clara Treser) and Ursula (Tia Good) to summon the Headless Horseman on All Hallows' Eve to get rid of Crane. Bones paid April Sanderfoot (Sariah Maughan) who was sweet on Crane, to ask for an escort to her home, putting him out in the woods of Sleepy Hollow.
At the end of the party just before Crane was to walk Sanderfoot home, he asked Van Tassel to marry him. She declined. She never saw Crane again because he met the Headless Horseman.
Bones' plan to get rid of Crane was successful. However, he was going to cover his tracks by turning the witches in to be burned at the stake. Samantha had other plans for Bones. She turned him into a frog and he sat in her hand as the curtain closed.
