Seeley Lake Library News

SEELEY LAKE - The Seeley Lake Library Book Club will be discussing Denis Johnson’s “Train Dreams” Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. This novella, set in America’s West at the start of the twentieth century, tells the story of Robert Grainier as he struggles to cope with the loss of his family and the radical changes that transformed America in his lifetime. Selected as a 2011 New York Times Notable Book, this book has been described as a triumph of spare writing and a gem of a story, set in rough times, in a tough terrain and tenderly told. All are invited to join in the discussion. Books are available at the checkout desk. For more information call 677-8995.

Due to construction, the library will be closed for Winter Break Dec. 26 – Jan. 2. Items due that week may be turned in the following week. Overdue fines will be waived.
