New Subdivision Regulations Took Effect Nov. 4

MISSOULA - Changes to Missoula County Subdivision Regulations took effect Friday, Nov. 4. The Missoula County Commissioners adopted these changes over the course of the summer, with all changes taking effect simultaneously.

To accompany these changes, there is also a new subdivision application and subdivision exemption application on the county’s website.

View the new regulations on the county’s website at http://tinyurl.com/Nov4SubRegs.

Applications are available at http://tinyurl.com/MCCAPSApplications

The county wants to hear from residents about their experiences with the new regulations – what’s working, what’s not and how to make the regulations better. In an effort to monitor the progress and effectiveness of these new regulations, Missoula County Community and Planning Services (CAPS) will be collecting input. Their goal is to evaluate the success of these regulations over the next six to 12 months and propose “maintenance” revisions as needed.

Questions or comments may be directed to CAPS 406‑258‑4657 or emailed to caps@missoulacounty.us
