Cottonwood Lakes Road to Close for Culvert Work
SEELEY LAKE – Cottonwood Lakes Road (FS Road #477) will be closed to all traffic beginning mid-September so that culverts can be replaced in the area. The road is expected to open again in mid-October.
Culverts to be replaced are located at Black Canyon Creek and Dry Cottonwood Creek and will be similar in design and width to the Little Shanley bottomless arch that was recently installed on the Seeley Lake Ranger District.
These new culverts will precede planned narrowing and reconstruction work on Cottonwood Lakes Road, which is planned for 2017...
