Boulder Man Dies in Crash near Condon

SWAN VALLEY - Saturday, July 9 at 10 a.m. the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle accident on US Highway 83 at approximately mile marker 51, near the Salmon Prairie Access site. The vehicle was reported to have two occupants at the time of the crash. Lake and Missoula County Sheriff’s Offices and the Montana Highway Patrol responded along with Swan Valley Emergency Services.

The male driver, 63-year-old Richard Graham of Boulder, Mont., was not wearing his seatbelt. He was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries.

The female passenger was wearing her seatbelt. She suffered only minor, non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of accident is still under investigation.
