Tractor Tires Flattened near Paws Up

GREENOUGH - On May 9 at approximately 6 p.m. it was discovered that three tractors sitting in the Paws Up field near Hwy 200 at about mile post 28.5 were vandalized. A drill was used to puncture a hole in each of the 24 tires causing more than $26,000 worth of damage.

The victim was a private contractor doing work for Paws Up. Sergeant Bob Parcell said that the motive is unknown and the vandalism is under investigation.

"Somebody definitely has a problem with someone to do that," said Parcell. "That's a lot of work hitting all 24 tires. That is a big loss."

Detectives are seeking information in hopes of finding out the suspect in this case. Please call Detective Gunter at 406-258-4810 or Montana Crimestoppers at 406-721-4444 to remain anonymous.
