SEELEY LAKE - The Rich Ranch threw open their doors at the ranch and warmed up the sledding hill for the 21st Annual Rich Ranch Community Appreciation Day on Woodworth Road. Attendees enjoyed ten selections of chili made by the Seeley Lake Lions Club, dozens of cookies made by the Seeley Lake Trailblazers 4-H Club, live bluegrass music, sleigh rides, warming fire, sledding and of course a visit from Santa.
"We've been doing this since 1958 when C.B. Rich would ride into town," said Peggy Cahoon, daughter of Rich. "This is a highlight of our Christmas every year. We appreciate the community effort that brings it all together, from the Lions Club with their chili, the 4-H Club and their cookies and the Henrekins and their sleigh rides. It is a true community event."
